What's the difference between your personal training and small group programs?
Personal training provides1-on-1 customization with dedicated coach attention for the full session. You will have a completely individualized program designed for your specific needs, goals, and limitations. Small group training (maximum 5 people) offers professional coaching and programming at a more accessible price point while still maintaining quality instruction and form monitoring. Both use the Gravity Training System and are coached by Troy Tyrell.
Do I need previous fitness experience to join?
Not at all. We specialize inworking with beginners and people returning to fitness after years away. Our Beginner Personal Training and Beginner Group Training programs are specifically designed for people starting from scratch. We will teach you proper form, build your confidence, and progress at a pace that is appropriate for you. Many of our most successful clients had never set foot in a gym before joining TSquared.
What is the Gravity Training System and why do you use it?
The Gravity Training System (also known as Total Gym) is a unique resistance training method that uses body weight on an inclined glideboard. It provides all the benefits of strength training—building muscle, increasing bone density, improving metabolism—without the joint stress of traditional weights or machines. This makes it ideal for adults over 40, people with arthritis, past injuries, or anyone concerned about joint health. The system is infinitely adjustable and provides hundreds of exercise variations.
Which program is right for me?
This depends on your goals, fitness level, budget, and preferences. Personal training is best if you want fully customized programming, have specific limitations or injuries, or prefer dedicated 1-on-1 attention. Small group training works well if you enjoy training with others, want accountability from a group setting, or prefer a more accessible price point. Do you work with people recovering from injuries?
Yes. Our Injury Rehabilitation programs are designed to bridge the gap between physiotherapy discharge and full fitness. We work with people addressing chronic pain (back, knee, hip, shoulder), those discharged from physiotherapy who need continued strengthening, and anyone with movement limitations. We coordinate with your physiotherapist or medical team as needed to ensure continuity of care and proper progression.
